A fantastic plan - long overdue.

Any initiative to give people an option for getting their 30 minute  (or more) dose of physical activity while getting more cars off the road gets two thumbs up from me.

An absolutely staggering Northland
statistic.

What if the same amount of money was
invested in health club memberships or assistance with home or community based exercise and activity regimes as a healthier form of escapism?

The health and fitness benefits to the individuals, their families, and our broader Northland community would be exponentially more positive - I wish . . .

While funds from pokie machines support a
lot of positive initiatives in our communities if $90,000 a day is the tip of the iceberg in terms of the negative societal cost I would much rather pokie machines were banned - what do you think?
